my testimony

Name-Mukti Prakash Lakra
I was born march2,1973 into nominal (Roman catholic) Christian family in Village Batwahi , Post Raghunathpur ,District Surguja (C.G.)497101 India.
In my childhood I worshiped many angels, Mary and God, when I grow than I am thinking what is different R.C.Church and evangelical Church. i read to Bible and listen radio program. Than I know what is truth.
One day my near a village (Raghunathpur) going on gospel meeting. So I went to meeting. I attend the meeting. The message was about the love of Jesus Christ and the wages of sin. The preacher also explained that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. As i listened to his word, my eyes were opened to the truth. My heart broke with my sin and the Lords love for me. With tears I repented renouncing my false gods. And I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I was overwhelmed with peace and joy. Jesus set me free for chest pain.
After my conversion i began to search through God’s Word and joined Church and soon I was baptized in water sep10,1993 as public testimony of my faith. My family than opposed my stand for Christ and began to persecute me. But the spirit of the Lord gave me boldness to witness about Christ among to the dying souls. As I became less self- centered. My burden for the lost greatly in creased. And I grew much more eternally minded during this time the Lord spoke to me through word. My heart began to burn for those who never had a chance to hear the gospel. I was confident that the Lord was calling me to go and preach his word to the un reached people of Surguja (Chhattisgarh) India, the majority of the people I work among are Hindus (ST/SC) in my ministry. I hold gospel meeting- conduct House meeting and reach many with the word of God through public gospel, House meeting. This time I have four Sunday worship center.
My goal is to plant churches in the un reached villages .
